 Fetira is a traditional Epastry that is flaky and delicious. It can be enjoyed plain or with sweet or savory fillings. Making Fetira at home is simple and fun.

Ingredients Needed

Ingreients:

  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of oil

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour and salt.
  2. Gradually add water and knead the dough until it's smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls.
  5. Roll out each ball into a thin, large circle.
  6. Brush melted butter and oil on the dough.
  7. Fold the dough from the edges towards the center to form a square.
  8. Roll out the square again into a thin circle.
  9. Cook the Fetira on a hot griddle or pan until golden brown on both sides.
